best shown his steps on the dance floor with beau Kareena Kapoor, this reluctance to hotfoot it in public for cash or kind applies to both of Bollywood’s happening jodi. The rest of the industry may measure its brand equity in terms of film offers and brand endorsements, and the price the stars charge for public appearances which involves dancing at weddings… but not Kareena and Saif.
So, naturally, they were appalled at the news that they had accepted a Gutkha baron’s Rs 3-4 crore offer to dance at his son’s wedding in Delhi this week. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are reported to be among those who will entertain the guests, but not Kareena and Saif.
