Henstridge Splits From Campbell
The actress has been dating Campbell, who recently changed his name from Darius Danesh, since 2006 and they have been engaged since 2007. But the pair has now scrapped wedding plans and confirmed they are to part ways, after their careers kept them on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
A spokesman for Henstridge, 35, tells British newspaper The People, "They tried to make it work. They really care about each other, but their careers took them in different directions. They are sad, but will remain friends."
Campbell shot to fame in 2001 on Simon Cowell's U.K. TV talent show Pop Idol, the predecessor of singing contests American Idol and The X Factor.
